KUALA LUMPUR, BERNAMA TV launches tonight its 30-minute 'Misi d'Or 2024' talk show in conjunction with the Paris Olympics, with the first episode featuring Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh as the guest. The programme, produced by BERNAMA TV and hosted by the experienced Syafiq Asyraf Zulkarnain, will air live for 30 minutes starting at 8.30 pm throughout the 17 days of the Paris Olympic Games. BERNAMA TV head Nor Hamzeela Md Hambali said that Misi d'Or 2024 will provide coverage of the journey and developments of the Paris Olympics involving Malaysian and international athletes. "This follows the success of BERNAMA TV 's 'Hayya Asia' talk show coverage of the 2023 Qatar Asian Cup football tournament in January and February this year. We are bringing that concept to the Misi d'Or 2024 programme. We want to be directly involved in igniting the spirit of Malaysians in the mission to hunt for the country's first Olympic gold medal in Paris," she said. Nor Hamzeela said other invited guests who will heat up the Misi d'Or 2024 talk show include prominent sports analysts Datuk Dr Pekan Ramli and Mohd Sadek Mustafa. Also not to be missed are several former national athletes who have competed in the Olympics, such as Roslin Hashim (badminton), Josiah Ng (track cycling), Rizal Tisin (track cycling) and Wendy Ng (diving). "We will also have live updates to follow the latest developments in Paris with two Bernama representatives, R. Vikneswaran and Ahmad Iskandar Kamaruzaman, who are now covering the Olympics," Nor Hamzeela said. Misi d'Or 2024 will be aired on Bernama TV until August 11. Source: BERNAMA News Agency
