BOC Surpasses June 2026 Revenue Collection Target by PHP2.8 Billion

Manila: The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has reported a revenue collection of PHP86.073 billion for June, surpassing its target of PHP83.220 billion by PHP2.853 billion.

According to Philippines News Agency, this achievement brings the BOC's total revenue surplus for the first half of 2026 to PHP11.478 billion, with cumulative collections amounting to PHP491.748 billion. This figure exceeds the January-to-June target of PHP480.270 billion by 2.4 percent. The BOC's June 2026 collections also reflect an 11.7 percent growth compared to the PHP77.035 billion collected in June 2025, marking an increase of PHP9.037 billion.

Preliminary records indicate that from January to June 2026, the BOC collected PHP491.748 billion, representing a 7.2 percent increase, or PHP32.977 billion, over the PHP458.771 billion collected during the same period in 2025. BOC Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno attributed this revenue performance to the collective efforts of its 17 collection districts. These efforts were bolstered by strengthened customs enforcement, enhanced trade facilitation, improved compliance measures, and the continued modernization of customs systems and processes.

The Post-Clearance Audit Group (PCAG) also played a role by contributing a total of PHP2.283 billion through its post-clearance audit operations. Commissioner Nepomuceno expressed gratitude to the BOC employees, emphasizing that the achievement is a testament to their dedication and integrity.

"This milestone proves that when integrity guides our work and everyone moves toward one goal, we can effectively deliver significant results that truly benefit our country and our fellow Filipinos," he stated. Under the guidance of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s directive to maximize revenue collection for the country's development agenda, the BOC remains committed to sustaining its performance and achieving its PHP1 trillion revenue target for 2026.
