Bulldogs and Green Batters Face Off in Decisive Game 3 Showdown

Manila: National University will try to secure a third straight UAAP baseball title when it battles De La Salle University in the winner-take-all Game 3 on Tuesday at the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.

According to Philippines News Agency, the Bulldogs, who extended the best-of-three Finals series with a 9-3 victory last Friday, will face off against the Green Batters at 8 a.m. The team's coach, Romar Landicho, expressed the importance of adapting and making strategic adjustments after their initial loss to La Salle, acknowledging the outstanding performance of La Salle's pitcher, Liam De Vera, in Game 1.

The Bulldogs will rely heavily on the offensive capabilities of the Maulit twins, Kenneth and Kevin, alongside the pitching skills of Hilario Espina III. Coach Landicho emphasized the significance of maintaining momentum from their previous win, highlighting the team's motivation and readiness to confront their opponents in the decisive game.

On the other side, the Green Batters, led by key players Tuting Samuel and Lian De Vera, aim to reclaim the championship title they last held in Season 85 (2022-2023). Both teams are preparing intensively for what promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the series.
