Camiguin Town Adopts Modern Transport Plan

Mambajao: Mambajao town in Camiguin has adopted a new route plan under the national public transport modernization program, aiming to streamline and enhance its local transportation system.

According to Philippines News Agency, Abosamen Matuan, director of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) 10 (Northern Mindanao), said in an interview that the agency issued a Special Notice of Compliance for Mambajao's Local Public Transport Route Plan (LPTRP).

"This marks a significant milestone in Mambajao's efforts to modernize its local transport system," Matuan said.

The LPTRP is a key component of the national Public Utility Vehicle (PUV) Modernization Program, designed to optimize existing and new transport routes.
