Cavite Cops Nab 3 Suspects, Seize P1.7-M Shabu

Manila: Police arrested three high-value individuals (HVIs) and confiscated suspected 'shabu' worth PHP1.7 million in a buy-bust operation in Dasmari±as City, Cavite early Wednesday.

According to Philippines News Agency, Col. Ariel Red, acting director of the Cavite Police Provincial Office, identified the suspects through their aliases as 'Owen,' 'Sop,' and 'Jen,' all residents of Dasmari±as City. Recovered during the operation in Barangay Datu Esmael were two knot-tied plastic ice bags and two heat-sealed sachets containing around 250 grams of suspected shabu, along with the buy-bust money.

Col. Red stated that the Cavite police remain committed to shielding communities from illegal drugs, emphasizing that each successful operation contributes to safer streets and a drug-free province. The suspects are now under police custody and face charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
