Clark: Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) announced Tuesday the launch of daily flights to El Nido and Coron (Busuanga) via Clark International Airport (CRK) starting March 30. The new routes aim to position Clark as a key hub for travelers exploring the Philippines. "Cebu Pacific is proud to position our Clark hub as a premier gateway to the Philippines' most iconic destinations," CEB president Xander Lao stated.
According to Philippines News Agency, the expansion of CEB's Clark hub follows the relocation of Cebgo flights from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to nearby airports. This move aligns with a resolution by the Manila Slot Coordination Committee to gradually transition turboprop operations out of NAIA.
Cebgo's flights to Masbate and Siargao via Manila will also transition to Clark starting March 30. With the addition of El Nido, Coron, Masbate, and Siargao to its network, Cebu Pacific will operate flights to 15 domestic and international destinations from Clark.
