London: Cebu Pacific (CEB) has been acknowledged by Cirium, a London-based global aviation analytics firm, as the most punctual airline in the Philippines for April.
According to Philippines News Agency, this accolade highlights the dedication and teamwork of Cebu Pacific's staff, who consistently strive to maintain efficient operations. Chief Operations Officer Javier Massot expressed appreciation for the recognition, emphasizing the airline's commitment to operational excellence. In April 2026, Cebu Pacific also achieved a notable fifth place in on-time performance (OTP) among Asia Pacific carriers, boasting an 84.98 percent on-time arrival rate across more than 12,000 flights.
Cebu Pacific currently serves 35 domestic and 26 international destinations. Cirium evaluates punctuality by examining aircraft arrival times, classifying flights as on time if they reach the gate within 15 minutes of the scheduled arrival.
To further demonstrate its commitment to operational excellence, Cebu Pacific recently launched the Cebu Pacific Training Academy. This cutting-edge facility aims to deliver comprehensive, hands-on training for aspiring aviation professionals. Additionally, the airline has upgraded its network control center to the Cebu Pacific Operations Control Center, which enhances preparedness for crises and disruptions and supports a more integrated, digital-first approach to operational management.
Massot reiterated the airline's focus on providing passengers with a smooth and reliable travel experience, underscoring its dedication to maintaining high operational standards.
