Manila: Digital-only commercial bank CIMB Bank Philippines revealed its goal to surpass the 10 million customer milestone within the year. The bank ended 2024 with a total of nine million customers, marking a significant step towards its target.
According to Philippines News Agency, CIMB Bank PH also reported a growth in its loan customers, with nearly four million loan relationships established. The bank's profit before tax saw a substantial increase, growing 45 times higher than in 2023, and total transactions surged past PHP800 billion.
CIMB Bank PH's chief executive officer, Vijay Manoharan, commented on the bank's journey since its inception in 2018 as the pioneer of all-digital banking services in the Philippines. He emphasized the bank's mission to provide every Filipino with access to banking and effortless services that deliver real value. Manoharan highlighted the trust placed in them by over nine million Filipinos, which reflects the increasing demand for their innovative banking solutions that meet customers' needs.
Manoharan further stated that this demand motivates CIMB Bank PH to continue delivering products and offers that empower customers to achieve their financial goals.
