MANILA-- Cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms will be experienced over the Visayas and Mindanao, the state weather bureau, PAGASA, said in its 24-hour forecast released Tuesday afternoon.
A low-pressure area was spotted 205 km. southeast of General Santos City in Mindanao's South Cotabato as of 4 p.m. Tuesday, PAGASA noted.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains are expected over Northern Luzon's Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos regions.
The northeast monsoon or 'amihan' affects Northern Luzon.
The bureau also forecast partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, while moderate to strong winds from the northeast will prevail over Luzon where coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
"Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas," it said.
