Comelec Processes Over 4M Voter Applications for November Polls

Manila: More than 4 million applications have so far been processed for the voter registration nationwide, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) reported Monday. Based on the poll body's latest data, it has received a total of 4,164,098 applications in six months since the voter registration activities resumed.

According to Philippines News Agency, the total number of voter applicants includes 2,146,453 females and 2,017,645 males. Calabarzon (Region 4-A) topped the list of voter applications processed at 680,795, with 353,695 females and 327,190 males. It is followed by Central Luzon (Region 3) with 460,166 applications, comprising 237,360 females and 222,806 males, and the National Capital Region with 429,304 applications, including 228,637 females and 200,667 males.

The Cordillera Administrative Region has the least number of applications received, with 57,074, including 29,937 females and 27,137 males. Aside from voter registration, the poll body is also accepting applications for transfer, change of status/correction of entries, and reactivation, among others.

The voter registration activities resumed on Oct. 20, 2025, and will run until May 18, 2026. The nationwide activity is being held in connection with the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections set to be held on Nov. 2.
