Manila: The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) has announced the sale of a wide range of real properties through an electronic public bidding (e-bidding) set to take place from November 26 to November 27, 2025. These include prime residential condominium units, residential lots, and agricultural properties spread across various locations in the Philippines.
According to Philippines News Agency, PDIC will offer an extensive portfolio comprising corporate and closed bank assets. This includes 19 residential condominium units located in Hudson Place Tower I, East Bay Residences, Sucat, Muntinlupa City, and a 141-square-meter mixed-use lot in Surigao del Norte. Additionally, 28 residential, 21 agricultural, and three mixed residential/agricultural properties are up for sale, with lot sizes ranging from 116 square meters to 9.94 hectares. These properties are spread across several provinces including Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon, Bulacan, and more.
Prospective buyers can participate in the e-bidding after registering on the portal at https://assetsforsale.pdic.gov.ph/Account/Register. The registration allows interested parties to submit their bids online. PDIC encourages bidders to perform due diligence on the properties to assess their condition, status, and ownership.
PDIC also advises interested buyers to review thoroughly the Conditions of Bid available on the e-bidding portal. Acting as the statutory receiver of closed banks, PDIC aims to liquidate remaining assets to maximize recovery and settle claims of creditors, including depositors with uninsured deposits.
Proceeds from the sales of closed bank-owned properties will contribute to a fund managed by PDIC for settling creditors' claims, while revenues from corporate asset sales will enhance the Deposit Insurance Fund, which supports valid deposit insurance claims.
