DBP Launches ‘Save 2 Win’ Campaign with PHP250K Cash Prizes to Boost Deposits

Manila: State-owned Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) is offering up to PHP250,000 in cash prizes to encourage individuals and institutions to increase their monthly average balance.

According to Philippines News Agency, the DBP announced the aggressive deposit generation campaign 'Save 2 Win' aims to grow its funding base to support its various lending activities. DBP President and Chief Executive Officer Michael de Jesus emphasized the importance of deposits in strengthening the bank's capacity to finance transformative projects that could support economic growth, create jobs, and improve community livelihoods across the country.

De Jesus expressed hope that the campaign would inspire more Filipinos to save not only for personal financial goals but also to contribute to nation-building and sustainable progress. As the tenth largest bank in the country, DBP boasts total assets of PHP1.036 trillion and provides credit support to four priority sectors: infrastructure and logistics, micro, small and medium enterprises, the environment, and social services and community development.

The campaign is expected to broaden DBP's deposit base, which saw a 15.51 percent growth to PHP413.41 billion in the second quarter of the year, up from PHP357.91 billion in the same period last year. 'Save 2 Win' runs from July 15 to December 31, 2026, offering cash prizes of up to PHP250,000 to winning individual depositors and gift certificates to winning institutional depositors.

Eligible participants include new and existing individual depositors with an active Peso Current Account or Peso Savings Account. Depositors can earn one raffle entry for every PHP5,000 in incremental average daily balance during the promo period. A raffle draw will be held on January 8, 2027, where 10 depositors have a chance to win PHP50,000 each. Additionally, one grand prize winner will receive PHP250,000, and five individuals may win PHP100,000 each.
