Caraga region: The Department of Health (DOH) 13 (Caraga) is actively addressing the dengue situation in the region by distributing vector control supplies, including insecticides and spray equipment, to local areas. The department is collaborating with local government units to provide guidelines based on Department Memorandum No. 2005-0420, known as the 'Four O'clock Habit Dengue 1-3-7 Strategy.'

According to Philippines News Agency, as of July 25, the DOH-13 has reported 1,813 dengue cases across various provinces and cities within the region. This represents a significant decrease compared to the 5,813 cases recorded during the same timeframe in the previous year. The breakdown of cases includes 79 in Agusan del Norte, 492 in Agusan del Sur, 74 in Dinagat Islands, 242 in Surigao del Norte, and 363 in Surigao del Sur. The cities have also recorded cases, with Bayugan City reporting 88, Bislig City 41, Butuan City 169, Cabadbaran City 60, Surigao City 97, and Tandag City 108.

The DOH-13 emphasized the importance of the Vector Control Measures and Interim Guidelines under the 1-3-7 Intensified Vector Control Strategy for Dengue. The agency is conducting information campaigns at the barangay level through the National Health Workforce Support System to enhance community awareness and prevention measures against dengue.
