Manila: Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon is looking to make improvements on the operations of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) following an inspection on Monday. In a statement, Dizon said these include prioritizing the speed of queuing at stations, repainting markings and signs, as well as fixing broken turnstiles.

According to Philippines News Agency, Dizon emphasized the need for immediate action to install lights in dark areas of stations and build covered walkways from train stations to bus and jeep loading areas. This initiative followed Dizon's personal inspection of the rail line's Taft, Ayala, and Shaw Stations.

Dizon also took the opportunity to speak with several passengers during his visit to gather suggestions on how to improve the train's services.
