Manila: The Department of Public Works and Highways - National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR) will resume its weekend road reblocking on select road sections in four cities. In a public advisory, the DPWH said the repair works will be conducted in Para±aque, Makati, Taguig, and Quezon City starting 11 p.m. Friday.
According to Philippines News Agency, the repair activities, which will include asphalt overlay and reblocking works, will be on the following road sections:
In Quezon City, the work will take place on Commonwealth Ave.; from Don Jose to Odigal Street; Batasan Tunnel to MG Cars; Payatas Road; Ilang Ilang to Golden Shower; Molave Street to Payatas Elementary School; C-3 Road; Bypass Road to C-3 Road; and C-3 Road to D. Tuazon.
In Taguig City, the repairs will occur on C-5 Road (SB) and East Service Road. For Makati City, the work will be conducted on J.P. Rizal Street, particularly from Santiago Street to just before Barangay Hall. Finally, in Para±aque City, the repairs will be on Roxas Boulevard, specifically from Bayview Drive to just before MIA Road.
The repair works are expected to be completed by 5 a.m. on June 23. The DPWH advised motorists to access other available lanes or alternate routes during the repair period.
