Cagayan de oro: The Department of Social Welfare and Development in Northern Mindanao (DSWD-10) celebrates the achievements of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) beneficiaries who were topnotchers in the recent Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).
According to Philippines News Agency, DSWD-10 recognized the accomplishments of Jyra Trixie Marie Bartolo, Mae Hazael Acain, Ni±a Almira Bantilan, and Sophia Acquin Prista. These individuals excelled in the LET-Elementary Level, earning high ratings that placed them among the top performers.
Bartolo, a graduate of Mindanao State University - Maigo School of Science and Technology, secured the second spot in the examination with an impressive average of 94.69 percent. She hails from Salvador, Lanao del Norte. Acain and Bantilan, both from Lanao del Norte and graduates of MSU-Maigo, tied for fifth place in the LET.
Prista, another fifth-place achiever, graduated from Bukidnon State University and resides in Sumilao town, Bukidnon. The success of these new teachers highlights the positive impact of the 4Ps initiative, which supports households by providing cash grants on the condition that children are sent to school until they complete their college education.
