Manila: The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) on Friday extended its congratulations to its employees and officials who successfully passed the 2025 Bar Examinations.
According to Philippines News Agency, Assistant Secretary Irene Dumlao expressed the department's pride in employees who continue to pursue professional growth while remaining committed to public service. She emphasized that the continuous cultivation of skills by the personnel is key to building a stronger institution and enhancing the effectiveness of their response to the needs of the countrymen.
Among those who are set to enter the roll of attorneys from the DSWD's Central Office are Luis Daniel De La Cruz of the Sustainable Livelihood Program - National Program Management Office (SLP-NPMO), and Phyllis Jessa Abenoja from the Center Development Office (CDO) under the DSWD Operations Group.
For DSWD Field Office 8 (Eastern Visayas), the Bar passers include Carissa Mendoza, Project Development Officer III and Standards Section Head of the Policy and Plans Division (PPD); Gabriel Canillas, Administrative Officer I of the Human Resource Welfare Section under the Human Resource Management and Development Division (HRMDD); and Kenneth Bryan Copino, Administrative Assistant II at the Office of the Regional Director.
Meanwhile, Field Office 11 (Davao Region) boasts two successful passers: Laulen Nu±ez, Administrative Officer IV of the Financial Management Division (FMD); and Hazel Annelou Cirunay, Project Development Officer III of the Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD).
Completing the list from Mindanao are Jerone Repayo (Information Technology Officer I) and Sulog Macadato (Social Welfare Officer III) from DSWD Field Office 10 (Northern Mindanao); and Maslama Hassan of the DSWD's Field Office 12 (Soccsksargen), who serves as Project Development Officer IV of the Disaster Response Management Division (DRMD).
Dumlao lauded the newly-minted lawyers, highlighting the value of their achievement to both the DSWD and the communities they serve. She noted that their success in the 2025 Bar Exams is a testament to their diligence, discipline, and dedication to public service. Their legal expertise will bolster the DSWD's efforts in upholding the rights and welfare of its beneficiaries.
