Iloilo city: The Department of Trade and Industry in Western Visayas has brought together 150 micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from across the region for the five-day 2025 Panubli-on trade fair. This event serves as a platform to highlight the region's craftsmanship, creativity, and cultural heritage.

According to Philippines News Agency, the annual trade fair features MSMEs from Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo, and Negros Occidental. The diverse array of products on display includes fashion and lifestyle items, home decor, food items and beverages, processed foods, delicacies, coconut-based products, coffee, cacao products, handcrafted souvenirs, and handwoven fabrics.

During the opening ceremony, DTI OIC Regional Director Ma. Dinda Tamayo emphasized the fair's role in providing a genuine platform for showcasing the region's heritage and encouraging MSMEs to achieve excellence. "The products that you see are not just a transformation of raw materials but the magical craftsmanship and creativity imbued in them," she remarked.

Tamayo expressed pride in the progress MSMEs have made in product development, noting that the new products' attractive and functional labeling and packaging are on par with, or even exceed, those of their counterparts. She also encouraged the public to engage in cashless transactions during the event.
