KUALA LUMPUR, The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives traded higher in the early session. At 9.20 am, August 2024, September 2024 and December 2024 gained 6.5 points to 1,637.5, 1,617.5 and 1,623.5, respectively, while March 2025 added 4.5 points to 1,611.0. Turnover stood at 1,338 lots, with open interest at 46,753 contracts. The FBM KLCI index edged up 0.38 of-a-point to 1,635.70 compared to yesterday's close of 1,635.32 after 41 minutes of trading.
