According to Philippines News Agency, the match is set for 8:30 p.m., with Spain, ranked second in the world, and Colombia, ranked eighth, both aiming to establish dominance in Group B and gain an advantage in the race for the knockout stage spots.
Both teams lived up to expectations during Saturday's opening of the global event, which is supported by the Philippine Sports Commission and the Philippine Football Federation. Spain overcame a challenge from fourth-ranked Thailand, winning 5-2, with Laura Cordoba scoring twice to lead the three-time European champions to victory. Meanwhile, Colombia secured a 2-0 win over 74th-ranked Canada, with goals from Angely Camargo and Nicole Mancilla, supported by strong goaltending from Alisson Olave.
