Manila: Filipino students are being encouraged to explore higher education opportunities in the European Union through the upcoming European Higher Education Fair (EHEF) 2025. The event, set to provide a hybrid experience, will feature onsite activities on 21 and 22 November at the Midtown Atrium in Robinsons Manila, alongside online thematic webinars scheduled for 24 November. This fair serves as a vital gateway for students, academicians, and researchers to discover pathways to world-class education in the EU.
According to European Union, the EHEF 2025 is organized by the Delegation of the European Union to the Philippines, alongside the Embassies and Cultural Institutes of several EU member states including Czech Republic, Germany, Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, Latvia, Hungary, The Netherlands, Austria, Romania, Slovakia, Finland, and Sweden. This year's event will bring together 92 higher education institutions both onsite and online, providing a unique opportunity for Filipino students to explore programmes that align with their interests and talents.
The event is supported by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and regional hubs such as University of Santo Tomas, University of the Cordilleras, Eastern Visayas State University, and Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan. Participating university partners include Ateneo de Davao University, Caraga State University, De La Salle University, Far Eastern University, and several others. These collaborations aim to empower the next generation of Filipino global leaders and changemakers.
Professional organisation partners involved in EHEF 2025 include the National Academy of Science and Technology-Philippines, Philippine Architecture School Association, Philippine Computer Society, Philippine Economic Society, and the United Architects of the Philippines.
