First Group of Guests Arrives in Makkah for Umrah Under Custodian Programme

Makkah: The first group of guests under the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Umrah and Visit Programme has arrived in Makkah to perform Umrah after spending several days in Madinah, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. Upon their arrival, the guests performed Umrah and expressed their appreciation to the Kingdom's leadership for the care and services provided to them, which facilitated the performance of their rituals and their visit to the Prophet's Mosque.

According to Nam News Network, the guests' programme in Makkah includes a series of scientific and cultural meetings, as well as visits to the King Abdulaziz Complex for the Holy Kaaba Kiswa and the Revelation Exhibition. This initiative underscores the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing the spiritual experience of its visitors through a blend of religious, cultural, and educational engagements.

The first group comprises 250 Umrah performers from 16 Asian countries: Indonesia, Timor-Leste, the Philippines, Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, Singapore, China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Mongolia. This diverse representation highlights the global reach of the programme and the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to foster unity and understanding among different cultures and communities.
