Datu Anggal Midtimbang:Maguindanao del Sur Four individuals were killed in an ambush in Datu Anggal Midtimbang, Maguindanao del Sur, at 3 p.m. on Monday.

According to Philippines News Agency, Col. John Michael Mangahis, the police provincial director for Maguindanao del Sur, stated that police investigators are continuing to determine the motive behind the attack that took place in Barangay Tulunan, Datu Anggal Midtimbang.

The victims of the ambush were not residents of Datu Anggal and are believed to have originated from outside the province. Their vehicle, found with bullet holes, had plunged into a shallow roadside ditch during the incident. The victims' bodies were discovered with bullet wounds in various parts of their bodies.

Further investigations are underway to identify the attackers and ascertain the motive for the ambush.
