Manila: Four illegal drug suspects were arrested Monday in a buy-bust operation, yielding more than PHP5 million worth of suspected shabu, the Police Regional Office in Bicol (PRO-5) reported Tuesday. PRO-5 Director Brig. Gen. Nestor Babagay Jr. identified the suspects as aliases 'Ann,' 'Lito,' 'Kitty,' and 'Daniel,' all residents of Dalipuga in Iligan City.

According to Philippines News Agency, the suspects were caught selling a large quantity of illegal drugs to an undercover agent. The operation resulted in the seizure of 800 grams of suspected shabu valued at PHP5.4 million, along with other drug paraphernalia and pieces of evidence.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against the suspects.
