Manila: After three consecutive weeks of price rollbacks, oil companies will implement an increase in pump prices starting Tuesday. In separate advisories on Monday, Seaoil, Petro Gazz, Cleanfuel, Shell, Jetti, and PTT Philippines said they will increase gasoline prices by PHP1.10 per liter. They will also implement a PHP0.20 per liter increase on diesel prices. There will be no price adjustments for kerosene. Last week, oil companies implemented a decrease of PHP1.00 per liter for gasoline, PHP1.30 per liter for diesel, and PHP1.65 per liter for kerosene. The Department of Energy (DOE) said this brought the year-to-date total adjustment of gasoline and diesel at a net increase of PHP4.85 per liter and PHP1.75 per liter. The DOE, meanwhile, said that kerosene has a total net decrease of PHP6.35 per liter. Source: Philippines News agency
