GSIS Expands Mall-Based Service Hubs for Members and Pensioners

Manila: Government workers and pensioners now have more places to seek assistance on their pension, loan, claims, and other transactions as the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) expanded its Ginhawa Service Hubs to more malls in Metro Manila and nearby areas.

According to Philippines News Agency, GSIS President and General Manager Wick Veloso announced that the additional mall-based access points are intended to make frontline services more convenient for members and pensioners who may find it difficult to visit regular branch offices. The initiative is part of GSIS's efforts to bring its services closer to its clientele, ensuring that transactions become more accessible, convenient, and faster.

The newly established Ginhawa Service Hubs are strategically located at Festival Mall in Alabang, Robinsons Galleria in Ortigas, Robinsons Novaliches, Robinsons Place Dasmari±as, and SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City. These hubs provide assistance with GSIS Touch registration, the Annual Pensioners Information Revalidation, loan and claims inquiries, document submission and compliance, housing account applications, non-life insurance concerns, and status checking of applications and claims, among other services.

Veloso highlighted that these hubs also play a significant role in supporting the agency's digital transformation by offering in-person assistance in high-traffic areas while promoting the use of the GSIS Touch mobile app. This setup ensures that members and pensioners no longer need to travel far for their needs, as the services are brought directly to them in convenient locations.

He also noted that service schedules and offerings might vary by location, urging members and pensioners to stay updated through official GSIS social media channels for advisories and operating hours.
