High-Level Female Drug Suspect Arrested in Bulacan with PHP3.4 Million Worth of Shabu

Bulacan: Authorities arrested an alleged high-level female drug trader in a drug bust in Barangay Tikay here on Sunday, that also resulted in the confiscation of PHP3.4 million worth of suspected shabu.

According to Philippines News Agency, Lt. Col. Russel Reburiano, Chief of the Provincial Intelligence Unit-Bulacan, reported that the operation was conducted at around 12:20 a.m. by joint operatives from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan, the Provincial Intelligence Unit, and the Malolos City Police.

The 27-year-old suspect was found in possession of one small heat-sealed plastic sachet and one large vacuum-sealed plastic sachet containing suspected shabu.

The seized drugs weighed approximately 500.42 grams, with an estimated street value of PHP3,402,856. Authorities also recovered the marked buy-bust money.

The suspect and the confiscated evidence were brought to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit (PFU) for appropriate examination. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared.
