High-Value Target Yields P3.4-M Shabu in QC Buy-Bust

Quezon City: Police officers and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents seized PHP3.4 million worth of shabu from an alleged high-value target (HVT) in Quezon City.

According to Philippines News Agency, the 30-year-old suspect, known by the alias Jahid, a resident of Barangay 190, Pasay City, was apprehended during a sting operation in Barangay San Bartolome, Novaliches, Quezon City at about 10:25 a.m. on Sunday.

Authorities confiscated 500 grams of shabu and other non-drug-related evidence from the suspect. These items are being held as part of the investigation to ensure a comprehensive case is built against the suspect.

Jahid is set to face charges under Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, as the legal process moves forward following this significant arrest.
