De la salle-college of saint benilde: De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde secured its second win after prevailing over Enderun College, 21-25, 27-25, 25-18, 25-22, Tuesday in the 2026 Shakey's Collegiate National Invitationals at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
According to Philippines News Agency, rookie Mhonniecka Joyce Soliven delivered 20 points on 18 attacks and two aces as CSB bounced back from a four-set loss to the University of Santo Tomas on Monday to improve its record to 2-1. "There are still many things lacking, but I think we will improve in our upcoming games," Soliven said.
Camila Bartolome contributed 19 points on 14 attacks, four blocks, and an ace, while Mary Grace Borromeo and Fionna Marie Inocentes added nine points each. Trailing by six in the fourth set, Enderun Colleges rallied to within 21-22 on Althea Botor's spike. However, CSB answered with consecutive hits to conclude the match in one hour and 57 minutes.
The Lady Blazers are set to face the Letran Lady Knights in a rematch of the NCAA Season 101 finals on Wednesday. Botor finished with 16 points, followed by Jasmine Salvani with 12 and Aurea Alvaro with 11 points for the Lady Titans, who suffered their third straight loss. Enderun Colleges aims to break their slump against guest team Ho Chi Minh City Volleyball Club of Vietnam on Wednesday.
