Manila: The National Dairy Authority (NDA): The National Dairy Authority (NDA) on Thursday urged the public to join this year's World Milk Day celebration and enjoy access to a wide variety of locally-produced milk and dairy products.
According to Philippines News Agency, NDA Administrator Marcus Antonius Andaya called for public support as the best of local milk and dairy products are set to be featured in the World Milk Day Fair at Farmer's Plaza Activity Center in Araneta City, Quezon City from June 5 to 7. "World Milk Day 2026 is an opportunity for the public to discover and proudly support Filipino dairy products while enjoying an engaging and family-friendly experience," he said.
About 20 exhibitors will join the free admission event, with participation from dairy cooperatives, processors, and partner brands nationwide. Visitors can enjoy a wide variety of fresh milk, flavored milk drinks, yogurt, cheese, ice cream, and other dairy-based products; exhibits and selling booths; interactive educational displays; special promotions; and event-exclusive offers.
Shoppers who accumulate at least PHP1,000 worth of purchases from participating exhibitors can redeem exclusive Ate Moo plush toys, while those who spend PHP500 can receive limited-edition Ate Moo keychains until supplies last. The event is expected to bring together dairy stakeholders, government agencies, private companies, and advocacy groups to promote local dairy products to wider markets alongside the campaign for milk as a source of nutrition for Filipinos.
