According to Philippines News Agency, former national player Marian Capadocia ousted No. 8 Althea Ong, 6-2, 6-3, to set up a quarterfinal duel with No. 2 Stefi Marithe Aludo, who walked over Mica Emana. No. 4 Kaye-Ann Emana won over Rovie Baulete, 6-1, 3-0 (ret.), to advance against No. 7 Ni±a Alcala, who survived Paula Uy, 6-3, 3-6, 7-6(7).
Meanwhile, La Salle's Annika Diwa outplayed Joanna Pe±a, 6-3, 6-4, and will face the winner between Louraine Jallorina and Akshita Antil. In the men's division, No. 1 Digvijay Singh of India clobbered Jeremiah Latorre, 6-1, 6-0, and No. 2 Alberto Lim, Jr. drubbed Mcleen Gomera, 6-1, 6-2.
