MANILA A magnitude 4 quake jolted Davao Occidental twice on Wednesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
The Institute, however, is not expecting any damage and aftershocks from the two quakes.
At 1:10 p.m., a quake of tectonic origin struck 183 km. southeast of Sarangani. It had a depth of 11 km.
There were no reported intensities from this.
Earlier at 2:46 a.m., a magnitude 4 quake, also of tectonic origin, hit 18 km. southeast of Jose Abad Santos. It had a depth of 30 km.
Intensity III was felt in Alabel, Sarangani, while Intensity II was reported in General Santos City.
Intensity I was recorded in Tupi, South Cotabato; and Kiamba, Sarangani. (PNA)
