Manila: The city government of Manila announced a comprehensive list of road closures and rerouting plans ahead of the nationwide rallies scheduled for November 30. Motorists have been advised to avoid affected areas and adhere to designated rerouting options to manage traffic congestion during the demonstrations.

According to Philippines News Agency, the closures and rerouting plans were released by the Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau, Manila Police District, and the Manila District Traffic Enforcement Unit. The affected roads include major thoroughfares such as both lanes of Bonifacio Drive from Anda Circle to P. Burgos Ave., various sections of Roxas Blvd., Independence Road, and several others. The rerouting plan details alternative routes for vehicles coming from different directions, aiming to ensure a smoother flow of traffic despite the disruptions.

The rallies, organized by cause-oriented organizations, religious groups, students, and private citizens, aim to protest against corruption, particularly focusing on alleged irregularities in flood control projects involving government officials. The city government has urged the public to stay informed and plan their travel routes accordingly to minimize inconvenience during the protests.
