In a vlog on his official Facebook page, Marcos highlighted the slate's dedication to enhancing the lives of Filipinos through their proposed programs.
According to Philippines News Agency, Marcos noted the Alyansa slate's advocacies, which aim to simplify and improve Filipino lives. He stressed the urgency of their support in accelerating the implementation of national aspirations. Marcos, alongside Alyansa candidate and former Interior secretary Benhur Abalos, addressed public concerns such as inflation, hunger, governmental corruption, and traffic management.
Marcos reassured citizens of ongoing efforts to reduce basic commodity prices, while Abalos emphasized the importance of lowering electricity costs and promoting renewable energy to alleviate inflation. Both acknowledged the critical role of mass public transport in resolving traffic congestion and enhancing road safety.
Marcos highlighted recent unfortunate incidents, advocating for discipline and public transport as solutions in major cities. He and Abalos also underscored the importance of combating hunger to elevate living standards. To fight corruption, Abalos proposed a measure to digitize all government services, pledging to introduce a supporting bill in the Senate.
Marcos expressed openness to dialogue with those opposing current policies to foster improvement. He underscored the significance of the Alyansa slate's victory in maintaining progress under his leadership. He commended the candidates' genuine love for Filipinos, noting their sacrifices and dedication to public service.
The Alyansa slate includes Abby Binay; incumbent Senators Ramon Revilla Jr., Pia Cayetano, Lito Lapid, and Francis Tolentino; former senators Panfilo Lacson, Manny Pacquiao, and Vicente Sotto III; and House of Representatives members Erwin Tulfo and Camille Villar.
