PUTRAJAYA, The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) will conduct the Internet Users Survey 2024 (IUS 2024) to understand the evolving behaviours and trends of Internet usage in Malaysia. The survey will run from today until Dec 31 and will be conducted online and via telephone interviews to meet the survey requirements. MCMC in a statement today said the data collected through this online platform is secured using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, stored locally in a password-protected database, and Internet Protocol (IP) addresses are not collected. 'The purpose of this survey is solely for data collection. No personal data, such as full names, credit or debit card information or bank details will be collected. No money will be solicited, and no sales will be conducted. Participation is voluntary, but the cooperation of the public is greatly appreciated,' MCMC added. Malaysian consumers aged 15 and above are invited to participate by accessing the survey portal via the provided QR code or link at https://survey.zohopublic.com/zs/3OCOZ.
