Manila: Oil firms will implement a minimal price rollback on petroleum products starting Tuesday.
According to Philippines News Agency, in separate advisories, Caltex, Cleanfuel, Jetti, Petro Gazz, PTT, Seaoil, and Shell announced they will cut gasoline prices by 10 centavos per liter. Additionally, Caltex, Seaoil, and Shell will also slash kerosene prices by 50 centavos per liter. There will be no price adjustment for diesel prices this week.
The Department of Energy reported that, year-to-date, gasoline has a total net increase of PHP4.65 per liter, diesel a total net increase of PHP4.45 per liter, while kerosene has a total net increase of PHP0.90 per liter. Current prices of gasoline in Metro Manila range from PHP50 to PHP74.90 per liter; diesel, from PHP49 to PHP74.74 per liter; and kerosene, from PHP69.20 to PHP83.69 per liter.
