MMDA’s ‘May Huli Ka’ Site Enhances User Experience with GCash Payment Option and New Features

Pasig city: Vehicle owners with citations may now access new features of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority's (MMDA) "May Huli Ka" website following its launch on Friday.

According to Philippines News Agency, MMDA Chair Romando Artes announced in a press conference at the MMDA office in Pasig City that vehicle owners cited through the No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP) can view their proof of violations at mayhulika.mmda.gov.ph. Motorists are required to enter their plate and MV File number to view evidence of any tagged violations. The site now supports registration of multiple vehicles under a single account, benefiting transport network vehicle service operators, fleet managers, logistics companies, and commercial vehicle operators. This enhancement allows for the tracking and review of all fleet violations through the website.

The platform introduces an E-Contest feature for a more streamlined process of contesting violation tickets. Motorists, once registered and verified on the site, can create a ticket, input necessary details, and upload required documents. Notifications are sent via email once an MMDA Traffic Adjudication Division officer responds. The initiative aims to simplify the review and management of vehicle violations for the public, enabling access to records at any time and place as part of a continuous improvement of the system.

Additionally, the MMDA has partnered with G-Xchange Inc., or GCash, to facilitate traffic and littering fine payments through GCash, with a reduced convenience fee of PHP7 per transaction. The "May Huli Ka" site currently displays violations recorded under MMDA's NCAP, while other violations can be accessed via the Land Transportation Office, the MMDA head office, and local government units.

As of November 30, the MMDA has recorded 252,315 violations, with 119,345 validated. To support enforcement, the MMDA employs 186 AI cameras, 348 CCTV cameras, and 100 body-worn cameras. Future plans include programming AI cameras to detect overspeeding violations alongside the use of speed guns.
