Valenzuela city: Nearly 600,000 housing units have been delivered nationwide under the administration's flagship Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) program since July 2022, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. announced Tuesday as he led the turnover of housing unit certificates to 333 beneficiaries of the Disiplina Village Arkong Bato in Valenzuela City.

According to Philippines News Agency, President Marcos emphasized the government's dedication to addressing the housing shortage in the country. He noted that the administration is collaborating with local governments, communities, and the private sector to continue developing housing programs.

President Marcos reiterated the administration's commitment to closing the housing gap and providing low-income families with safe and sustainable communities. He highlighted that the new housing units offer informal settler families greater security, especially during adverse weather conditions, while keeping them close to essential services like hospitals and schools.

Marcos encouraged beneficiaries to care for their new homes and view them as a foundation for their families' future. He expressed hope that the homes would support families in raising their children and pursuing long-held dreams.

The Disiplina Village Arkong Bato project, under the Expanded 4PH program and managed by the National Housing Authority, aims to provide 960 housing units for informal settler families affected by the Supreme Court's mandamus to clear Manila Bay and those living in hazardous areas in Valenzuela City. Nine buildings have been completed, comprising 333 units, with the relocation of beneficiaries having started in April 2026.

In addition to the Valenzuela City event, President Marcos also led another milestone occasion under the Expanded 4PH program in Caloocan City.
