Albay: New Albay police chief Col. Noel Nu±ez vowed to improve police operations while ensuring the morale and welfare of the police force. During the command turnover ceremony Monday at Camp General Simeon Ola here, Nu±ez said his tenure will be marked by integrity, decisiveness and dedication.

According to Philippines News Agency, Nu±ez emphasized his commitment to enhancing internal support programs, focusing on physical and mental wellness, as well as recognition and career development. He aims to create an environment where every police officer feels valued, protected, and motivated to exceed expectations.

Nu±ez also plans to maximize partnerships with local government units and stakeholders to enhance logistical capabilities, improve mobility, and maintain 24/7 operational readiness. Furthermore, he intends to establish regular hazard assessments, intelligence monitoring, and contingency planning for both man-made and natural threats.

Nu±ez is a member of the Philippine National Police Academy Tanglaw-Lahi Class of 1999.
