New QC Archery Range to Nurture Future Champions

Quezon City: Aspiring archers now have a new place to hone their skills following the opening of an international-standard archery range at a 10-hectare mixed-use property development in Quezon City. The Circulo Verde range features target distances that meet global standards, aiming to provide a much-needed training ground for both recreational shooters and competitive athletes.

According to Philippines News Agency, national archery coach Nino Sinco expressed excitement about the new facility during its grand opening. "I'm excited about this new archery range, because for the longest time, in Metro Manila, there's no public range," Sinco said. "The only one that existed before closed down. So now, this one is totally open. Anyone from any club can come here and shoot here," he added.

The event was also attended by Ortigas Land president and corporate resources division head Michael David Abundo III. Sinco, along with Olympus Archery Philippines president Rona Galicano and Xavier Archery Club secretary general Macky Santos, will manage the range. They will be joined by other notable coaches in the country.

As part of Ortigas Land's commitment to promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for Filipinos, the sports hub also includes a bicycle playground, basketball court, international football association-standard field, and a radio-controlled car race track.
