Two towns in this province will experience an 11-hour power interruption on Thursday, according to the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP).
Ernest Lorenz B. Vidal, NGCP Central Luzon corporate communications and public affairs officer, said the 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. scheduled shutdown of its transmission facilities will affect areas being serviced by Nueva Ecija II Electric Cooperative, Inc.-Area 1 (NEECO II-Area 1) and Pantabangan Municipal Electric Services (PAMES).
Vidal said the affected areas are the municipalities of Carranglan and Pantabangan.
The NGCP will facilitate annual preventive maintenance and testing of 10MVA power transformer and replacement of re-closer at Pantabangan load-end substation, he said.
He advised the NGCP’s customers and the general public to take the necessary preparations and precautions for the scheduled power interruption. (PNA)
