Caraga: The Police Regional Office in the Caraga Region (PRO-13) will deploy 1,816 police officers to ensure public safety and security during the observance of Undas 2025 from Nov. 1 to 2. These personnel will be stationed in cemeteries, public routes, airports, seaports, bus terminals, churches, and other areas where people gather during the holiday.
According to Philippines News Agency, PRO-13 announced that police personnel will also be responsible for manning 210 assistance desks in 192 cemeteries across the region. Additionally, officers will be present at 70 Motorist Assistance Centers that will be strategically located along major national highways to assist travelers.
To further strengthen security operations, at least 2,780 force multipliers will be deployed. This group includes personnel from the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the Bureau of Fire Protection, the Philippine Coast Guard, local government units, and volunteer organizations.
PRO-13 director Brig. Gen. Marcial Mariano Magistrado assured the public of the police's readiness to maintain peace and order, provide immediate assistance, and respond to incidents during All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day. He also urged the public to cooperate with authorities and remain vigilant while visiting cemeteries, public areas, and tourist spots.
