Police operatives arrested a 'high-profile' suspect and seized close to PHP 1.4 million worth of suspected shabu during a buy-bust operation in Sibulan, Negros Oriental early Friday. Lt. Stephen Polinar, spokesperson of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO), identified the suspect as alias Jingle, male, 36, single, and a resident of Burgos St., Poblacion 2, in Siaton town. The suspect allegedly sold illegal drugs to undercover operatives at Purok 6 in Barangay Maslog, Sibulan, resulting in the confiscation of more or less 205 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of PHP 1.394 million.
