Manila: The Philippines currently has 250 projects worth PHP3.15 trillion in the pipeline to be undertaken by the government and the private sector, data from the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Center showed.
According to Philippines News Agency, as of Thursday, 167 projects worth PHP3.01 trillion will be implemented by the national government while the remaining 83 projects worth PHP133.34 billion will be implemented by local government units.
Data indicated that railways accounted for the biggest chunk with total projects amounting to PHP1.97 trillion. Land transport followed with PHP277.26 billion, and road, PHP221.46 billion.
Majority of these projects will be located in the National Capital Region, Central Luzon, and CALABARZON.
