Clark: Authorities led by the Bureau of Customs (BOC) on Tuesday seized a drug-filled resin bunny figurine containing suspected ketamine weighing around 1,675 grams with an estimated value of PHP8,375,000 in Clark, Pampanga.
According to Philippines News Agency, the shipment came from France and was seized at a warehouse under the BOC - Port of Clark. The Bureau stated that the operation was conducted in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the Clark Inter-Agency Task Force Against Illegal Drugs.
The Bureau added that after receiving a derogatory report from the PDEA, the shipment underwent a thorough examination. The PDEA highlighted that ketamine is classified as a hallucinogenic drug, which can sedate, incapacitate, and cause short-term memory loss. It is sometimes misused as a date-rape drug.
