Pag-IBIG Rewards Members with Raffle Prizes Up to PHP500,000

Makati city: State-run Home Development Mutual Fund capped the year by rewarding its members with cash prizes of up to PHP500,000. The Pag-IBIG Fund on Tuesday held year-end grand draws of its One-Plus-One Raffle Promo and Multi-Purpose Loan (MPL) Loan-to-Win Raffle Promo in Makati City.

According to Philippines News Agency, the One-Plus-One Raffle Promo helped expand its membership base, including overseas Filipino workers and those in the informal sector, while the MPL Loan-to-Win Raffle Promo rewarded members who availed of the agency's short-term cash loan facility for their financial needs. The raffle initiatives, the agency said, are part of its continuing efforts to support the directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. to ensure that more Filipino workers, particularly those outside the formal workforce, are given fair opportunities to save, own homes and secure a stable future.

Launched in January, the One-Plus-One Raffle Promo encouraged active members to act as 'PagIBIGfluencers' by inviting nonmembers to register with the fund or urging inactive members to reactivate their membership. Earlier raffle draws produced winners among PagIBIGfluencers and their referred 'plus ones,' leading to the year-end grand draw. The One-Plus-One Grand Draw yielded three winning pairs for the top prizes, with one pair receiving PHP500,000 each, another pair PHP250,000 each, and a third pair PHP100,000 each. The draw also produced 30 'plus ones' and 30 PagIBIGfluencers who won PHP10,000 each as consolation prizes.

Meanwhile, the MPL Loan-to-Win Raffle Promo, which began in February, covered eligible members who availed of the Pag-IBIG Multi-Purpose Loan, a short-term cash loan that can be used for medical expenses, education, small business capital and household needs. Under the promo, borrowers earned one raffle entry for every approved MPL, with additional entries for loans applied for online through Virtual Pag-IBIG, first-time MPL borrowers and loans amounting to more than PHP50,000. The MPL Loan-to-Win Grand Draw produced 24 winners, including four recipients of PHP50,000, four winners of PHP40,000 and 16 winners of PHP30,000. Another 80 MPL borrowers received PHP10,000 each as consolation prizes.

Pag-IBIG Fund said the year-end winners joined the 756 winners of the MPL promo and 94 winners of the One-Plus-One promo from earlier raffle draws. Details on the list of winners and prize claiming procedures are available on the Pag-IBIG Fund website and its official Facebook page.
