PAL to Resume Dubai Flights on Oct. 2

Manila: Flag carrier Philippine Airlines (PAL) announced on Monday the resumption of direct Manila-Dubai services beginning Oct. 2. PAL will initially operate four weekly flights but plans to progressively increase service to daily as operational considerations allow.

According to Philippines News Agency, the resumption of Dubai flights will strengthen connectivity for overseas Filipinos, business travelers, tourists, and cargo customers traveling between the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates. PAL stated that Dubai also serves as an important gateway to destinations across the Middle East, Africa, and Europe.

The resumption of flights between Manila and Dubai also comes as travel between the Philippines and the United Arab Emirates becomes more convenient for many Filipino travelers. Flights from Manila to Dubai and vice versa are scheduled every Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

Eligible Filipino passport holders may now obtain a visa-on-arrival in the UAE if they hold a valid visa, residence permit, or Green Card issued by the United States, the European Union/Schengen Area, Australia, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, Canada, or New Zealand. Meanwhile, PAL said it will offer an introductory all-in round-trip fare starting from USD650 for a limited period, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
