Pangasinan: The Pangasinan police reported that 1,483 individuals have violated the Safer Cities initiative implemented by the Department of the Interior and Local Government. These violations were flagged as part of ongoing efforts to maintain order and safety within the community.

According to Philippines News Agency, as of April 16, the violations include 714 instances of breaking the minors' curfew, which is enforced from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Additionally, there were 688 incidents of individuals drinking in public places and 81 cases of people roaming without wearing an upper garment. These figures were shared by Pangasinan Police Provincial Office information officer Capt. Aileen Catugas in a phone interview conducted on Friday.

Capt. Catugas stated that first-time offenders have been issued warnings for their infractions. In a recent interview, Pangasinan Police Provincial Office Director Col. Arbel Mercullo emphasized the role of village force multipliers in monitoring these violations and ensuring the maintenance of peace and order. He also urged the residents of Pangasinan to cooperate with the initiative for the benefit of the community.
