Marcos conveyed the appreciation expressed by Canadian leaders and businesses for the Filipino workforce, describing them as hardworking, reliable, and highly skilled. He noted that Filipinos in Canada are seen not only as friends but as family, underscoring the deep ties they have fostered in their communities.

He further praised Filipino healthcare workers, caregivers, engineers, architects, and other professionals for their significant contributions to key sectors in Canada, such as healthcare, construction, and education.
