Manila: President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. on Wednesday extended his birthday greetings to Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) executive minister Eduardo Manalo, expressing gratitude and admiration for his dedication and leadership. The INC head will celebrate his 69th birthday on Oct. 31. 'Sa araw na ito, nais kong ipahatid ang aming pasasalamat at paghanga sa inyong dedikasyon sa pamumuno at pag gabay sa Iglesia ni Cristo (On this day, I would like to convey our gratitude and admiration for your dedication to leadership and guidance in the Iglesia ni Cristo),' Marcos said in a statement. He highlighted the importance of Manalo's leadership of the influential religious group, wishing him continued strength and wisdom in his ongoing service to the INC. 'Nawa'y patuloy kayong biyayaan ng lakas at karunungan upang magamit sa inyong patuloy na paglilingkod at pangunguna sa loob ng Iglesia (May you continue to be blessed with strength and wisdom to be used in your continued service and leadership within the Church),' Marc os said. 'Mula sa aming pamilya, pinapanalangin namin ang patuloy na paglago ng inyong gawain at magandang adhikain para sa bayan at sa buong mundo(From our family, we pray for the continued growth of your work and good aspirations for the country and the whole world),' he added.
